Mini back in action, even 'switched on'

Today, extremely dull but almost no rain, has been devoted to getting Mini roadworthy again. Although she was running well I didn't feel I should drive her without working indicators; does anyone understand hand signals now?

The problem was to find a working switch which I thought I had in the garage but hadn't seen for years (the garage, by the way, is 5 miles from home!). That took almost four hours. Removing the broken one and fitting the working one took less than an hour. Must sort out the garage ;-( .

The pic shows the broken switch at the front (the small black bit is what broke off and rendered the thing useless. The replacement is at the rear.

Now she deserves a cleanup; spending more than a week under a shower of leaves has made her look even more scruffy than usual. Tomorrow!
