The Thrill of the Fair

Loughborough Fair has been going now for 789 years. It has a charter.

It takes over the centre of Loughborough from Wednesday to Saturday in the second week, every November.

I took my tripod with me hoping to capture some spinning photos like this. I found I wasn't so sure of most effective exposures and I was also getting a bit bored. This was the second or third time I'd gone to the fair with this intention.

So I took the camera off the tripod, upped the ISO, and tried to take surreptitious photos of people. I was spotted by some people. Need to develop a thicker skin.
