Passing Through Piccadilly

I was in London today for Michael Gallagher's memorial event at the Anglo-Omani Society and to meet Margaret and Margaret at the British Library to view the exhibition on Gothic Terror and Imagination.

En route to Sackville Street, I had to pass through Piccadilly Circus.

Eros is surrounded by ugly green boards. I assume that work is being done on the surroundings to the statue so I had to content myself with zooming in against the illuminated advertising.

Many original manuscripts at the BL and it was wonderful to enjoy dinner at Carluccio's at St Pancras afterwards. A real girly day.
