Starting down Queen Street

After a really pleasing run this morning (on which I took the photo added as an extra), i had a leisurely breakfast before joining with daughter J (and many others) to walk down Queen Street in the central city, protesting about the TPPA. The aim of continuing protest is to persuade the Government to not ratify the TPPA agreement. Those who have read and considered the 1,600 pages of the agreement tell us that it does nothing for ordinary people.

Shortly after we started down the main street, the organisers called a halt to allow the lead vehicle to get establish a gap, so that taking photos would be easier. So I went to the front where I was able to take this photo. I then rejoined J and some of her Green Party friends and colleagues to walk to the bottom of Queen Street where there was a brief gathering for another speech or two.
