Calm

All was calm at Munich Airport this afternoon.

The only sign of some extra security was the police having machine guns as well as the usual handguns. There is something about a cute Bavarian policewoman in a well fitting uniform with a machine gun over her shoulder... No, we won't go there.

easyJet was fine. As is so often the case, some of their passengers had drifted up from the bottom of the pond. Two hours can seem like a lifetime in the wrong company.

Mind you, Dr D had given me a doggy bag with some of the leftover cheese from last night's dinner. It started to get a bit whiffy over Amsterdam.

As so often happens as well, our arrival came as a total shock to Edinburgh Airport. We got off the plane eventually.

I'm told it hasn't stopped raining since I left on Thursday, so I'm grateful for the wee escape.

The Blip is Munich Airport. I really like it. Bright. Clean. Most importantly, it is passenger orientated and not just a shopping mall with an airline theme to it.
