A warm, red Autumn

Designers want to dress me like Spring, in billowing things. I don't feel like a Spring. I feel like a warm, red Autumn.
Marilyn Monroe.

And that's the only resemblance between me and herself!

Grey,  mizzly - a quick walk around the garden accompanied by two cats and a robin (!) and the reflections of the willows and ivy in the small stream plus a bit of jazzying up are today's blip - a nice pattern for some Autumnal dress fabric perhaps?

A wonderful array of decrepitude in the DS challenge as always. Vibrant rustiness, subdued licheny decay; romantic ruins; shocking abandonment; forlorn remains, things that have sunk, things forgotten, things unloved, things of beauty; some a blot on the landscape - all carefully and especially chosen.
Hearts are winging their way to:
Apothecary7 : for her wonderfully graphic print-like image of North Carr Lightship
Veronica: for her depiction of beauty in decay, those details and colours
DaringtoGo for the still beautiful and tiny school house
Mario for the oddly enigmatic and interesting composition, and wishing Mrs Puff good luck for tomorrow
Jensphotos for the enticing and disturbing glimpse, and her bravery!

All entries can be seen here. Thanks to everyone who took part and we're now into DS5.
