Boats in da Harbour

It started as a rainy morning but it soon cleared and had a sunny day, well until lunchtime and then it clouded over with showers and fairly windy again.

Back to work after the weekend.  A fairly quiet day in the museum but there has been various visitors in to see us.  I was busy in the afternoon setting up for a small conference tomorrow.  After work I went down to see granny at the care centre.  She was doing good today and we were looking through the old family photos we scanned last week.  Off to work in the pub tonight, think the oil men leave in a weeks time, woo hoo :)

A lovely day for a lunchtime walk about Lerwick.  I came down to the harbour and there was various boats coming in and a good few tied up already.  Must be sheltering from the winds coming tonight.  The massive Norwegian Christina E and smaller Irish boats can be seen here at Victoria Pier.
