Gone South

Early start on a very chilly morning. 8 o'clock train to York with H for a work meeting. I was chairing but all seemed to go well and we got a lot done including a successful IT slot. The telly working always makes us nervous.

Then on a train even further south to London. Slow running train and Barney related speed restrictions meant arriving 20 minutes late. That led to a change of plan and straight to the Cafe for drinks with colleagues and then a Thai curry and a couple of beers and a natter with Northern colleagues.

Got back to the hotel in King's Cross about 10. A good 10 degrees warmer here. People are still sitting outside pubs drinking. The scarf went in the bag. As expected small room, on the top floor.
