No Ball Games Allowed

A very brief blip tonight as have been hotfooting it to Anglesey again, and so subject to the same restrictions of Internet access.

Today was another 'canal' day taking visitors from London on a bit of a whistle stop tour to explore the creative potential of Manchester's grand waterways (hardly Venice I know, but in terms of World Heritage in industrial archaeology and the seeds of the industrial revolution, then with few peers).

This is a shot of a tiny part of a much bigger student intervention inspired and built by students of Manchester School of Architecture. Called Atelier (Zero) it will be showcased in the annual Canal Festival in August.

In complete contrast, it is my beloved Anglesey again this weekend (just arrived and first sundowner necked) with a weekend agenda currently still unplanned - but which as usual will be governed by who we bump into at the Bull tonight; what times high tides are at tomorrow, and how high they are; and what glorious weather we are dished out (or not).

One thing is for sure though: with the first weekend of Wimbledon and the delicious prospect of a Spain vs Italy final to Euro 2012, ball games will most definitely feature at some point.

Watch this space, and I will tell you all about it tomorrow.

Have a happy weekend all!
