Cobras in action

I am only just thawing out. It was freezing on the touch line - as expected! As you can see from the extra I went well and truly prepared with double snoodage! It was lovely and sunny though :)

There was plenty of action, unfortunately almost all of it was in the Cobra's goal. They lost 3-2 and then 15-0, ouch! At least Leo wasn't goalie in the second match - don't think he'd have liked picking the ball out if the net 15 times! As ever, he doesn't seem bothered by the battering and I think he enjoyed playing up front for once. Although that might have something to do with the fact that it was so freezing that he was warmer running around than in goal. The coach said he wished he could clone him so he could have him goal as well as let him run out so he Is feeling proud that he had a good game despite the scorelines. Poor little Issy had to leave early as she took a massive blow to the face really early on - and seemed a bit dazed. I am not surprised, it was a wonder she wasn't lifted off her feet as the ball was kicked with some welly!

I am just waiting for a lovely warming jacket potato to finish crisping up in he oven, to complete our thawing out from inside out :)

If I can face getting cold again I may pop out toTiverton later to give mum a little trip out - but it is so lovely and warm inside that hibernation for the rest of the day also seems attractive.
Only 2k steps done so far though, so maybe a wrapped up wander is In order.

Enjoy your weekends
