Wicked!

I went on a school organised (no kids) trip to see Wicked in London. Myself and a friend decided to have a mooch round Liberties then walk through the back streets to the theatre. Our plans were shot out the window when our journey to London took 3 hours instead of 1.15. The train brook down about a 1/3 of the way there and we had to squash from a 10 carriage train into a 4 carriage one, along with all the travellers that were already on that train. Amazing me and R got seats!

Once at Kings cross we made our way straight by tube to Victoria. A quick pint in the local, sarnies bought from M&S and into the theatre. We had a picnic lunch in our seats.

The set and costumes were amazing. I wanted to get up and look more closely at some of the dresses. I enjoyed the show (despite having a snooze here and there), however it didn't wow me.   Afterwards we had another quick pint in the local - discussed why it was that Weatherspoons pubs were always so busy, then headed back to catch the train home.  Great day.
