Last leaves; late light

Left the office early with the excitement of late sunlight warming the scene outside my office window.  I am grateful for following the old advice of 'getting one in the can', even if it was just these leaves on a tree in the car park .

I had only just pulled off the car park when the gorgeous light was snuffed out by cloud and didn't re-appear again.  It even started to rain.  Ah, well.
