Stratford Lights

We went to Stratford this evening to see the switching on of the Christmas lights.  There are new illuminations on Shakespeare's Birthplace this year, but it was too crowded around the house to get very close to it this evening, so we will return another day. We did see the show  and stood almost opposite the front door, up an alleyway,  along with a very serious-looking photographer who looked as though he was probably with the BBC news.
After the lights and the street market, we enjoyed a superb Italian meal before returning home.
This is the Christmas tree at the top of Bridge Street. Shakespeare's Birthplace is along Henley Street, which is just to the right of Barclay's Bank.
