Car park

Just your average line-up of cars in a typical French village.

Not really -- the classic car enthusiasts were lunching nearby. I went for a quick stroll during a pause in choir practice. More tiresome German gipsies -- unfortunately Brahms saw fit to compose a group of 11 songs in this vein. As  light relief we sang a madrigal by Fauré with quite pleasant music but stupid words (a common failing of French choral music I find --  Les fleurs et les arbres).

Afterwards I collected S from his walking exploits, and it was back home for  an evening by the fire, glass of wine, then swiftly made and delicious mushroom risotto from what we had in the house.

Extra: it's rather remarkable to find passion flowers blooming at the end of November, and I was playing around with macro settings on the Sony. It works amazingly well once you get your head round the settings. Spot the hoverfly!
