Northwest corner

This morning I had a follow up appointment at Auckland City Hospital, with Felix the Clinical Nurse Specialist in ORL. He looked at the cut in my leg and declared it very satisfactory. He'd watched me walk in, wearing the moonboot and with two crutches and told me that I no longer need the moonboot, and in a week or so, no crutches either. The swelling around my jaw is still obvious, and is limiting my jaw movement. However, he declared all this progressing well. I see the surgeon next week. I feel very reassured and positive.

I've continued my work on the pots on the deck, and decided that my blip today will be this photo of the northwest corner of the deck. I turned on the wee lights we have strung around the edge of the deck amongst the pots, to give it a bit more light.

Finished another book, as I'm reading a lot given that there's little else I can do.
