A Little Jaded

Another day working but the weather has been equally as bad today as it was yesterday, so no hardship to stay indoors.

As well as working today I have printed of my Christmas card labels and then discovered that I do not have any cards left over from previous years. I am shopping with my grandson on Sunday so will buy some then.

I have contacted the restaurant where I will be going, with my husband, in the evening of my birthday to give them our choices; hopefully we will be able to go to Cambridge during the day.

My Christmas wine arrived last night, eighteen bottles, with some extras thrown in, Olive Oil, Coffee, Gin and Port. I make index cards for each bottle so that I can add notes so that I can buy the ones I like again; it also helps when I am reviewing them.

Dougal and Florence tried one of their treats last night. Dougal played with his for about five minutes, batting it about with his food. Florence ate a tiny piece and then left it on the floor; obviously not a great success, or maybe they are spoilt with Whiskas treats and Dreamies.

Today’s picture, taken as it was getting dark is of one of our Polyanthus flowers, there are several still flowering although many, like this one are looking a little jaded.
