buckingham

began the day by passing by albert hall, then made our way to Buckingham Palace for a brief encounter with the huge crowds surrounding it

managed to get one decent picture of leah and i in front of the palace gates, getting a spot this central at the gates was really difficult, as it's just constantly heaving with people!

we were hurried off almost immediately after we got there, as apparently we'd booked a tour session at the theatre showing 'Les Miserables', and as we did the production last september, it was something the Fut' wasn't going to let us miss!

afterwards, we were let loose to explore the are surrounding tower bridge, and so had some sneaky chips, and pottered round the tacky souvenirs for another few hours

we then got back on the bus and drove to st pauls cathedral, where we wandered down to the millenium (wobbly) bridge, where i viewed the exact spot i stood at the jubilee river pageant - the bush plant is still flattened, everyone! -for anyone that saw my blip about the river pageant ;)

after another million photographs, we stopped by at Leicester Square, visited the M&M store, and bought a 100g bag of electric blue M&M's for the stupidest price ever, of £3.50 - most wasteful buy of my life, but y'know.. YOLO!

Planet Hollywood for diner was pretty cool too, first ever cheeseburger, yep!

and to finish, we made our way to the theatre showing 'Shrek the Musical' and again, like War Horse, was phenomenal - like i said we would, we were all singing along to 'morning girl'

my favourite character was the ugly duckling, simply due to her outfit, but since we met pinnochio, he was definitely not far off best!

ah, homewards bound tomorrow, it's been such a wonderful trip!
