morning girls

this morning we had a theatrical and musical workshop with one of london's top music instructors for the huge west end theatre productions

he really worked our vocals, firstly demonstrating how to properly warm up with mouth, breathing, and vocal exercises, all preparing us for trying out one of the songs from the musical of 'Shrek' which we would be seeing tomorrow night!

we sang the song 'morning girl', and were proved how essential it is to warm up your voice prior to singing - we'll all be joining in when we go to Shrek now..

we headed out to Covent Gardens, where we did some shopping, grabbed lunch, and had a fair amount of free time to do whatever we liked - i know london quite well, so finding my way around with Sean was fine :)

after being conned my a street seller of 'magical things' and a very annoying bird whistle, we headed to Trafalger Square, where we climbed on the lions, witnessed a man handstanding on top of one, and took a gazillion photos of everything and anything

i got Paddy to take my photo on top of the huge statue thingy, he's not a bad photographer either ;)

we moved on to McDonalds, for a classy meal before rushing out to War Horse, i was literally buzzing with excitement by now, omg i couldn't wait!!

We arrived in time for the evening showing, i think about 7.30, and honestly - i can't even describe how amazing it was

from the tiniest tail flick to the ear twitch to the way they galloped them, each and every movement the horses made were EXACTLY the same as all horses naturally behave, absolutely mindblowing. absolutely and completely.

it was the music that was most unbelievable though, so moving - if it wasn;t for the vocals and the music, it wouldn't be half as special as it is

i recommend it to anyone, best thing i've ever, ever seen.

gracious..
