Rose

Before it's wilting like the rest of the roses in this bouquet, its upper petal is already turning golden. For Flower Friday, hosted by BikerBear, with thanks to her. More bright colours, because hurray there's sun today and in the garden it's a coming and going of birds and even two squirrels. But I've got to pack presents, think up little rhymes and possibly disguise some of the presents as something else  and bake speculaas and apple pie for tomorrow's St Nicholas feast. So no more staring out the window to watch the birds and squirrels (see one in the extras)!
