Kinnaird Head

The castle at Fraserburgh was built in the 16th century and altered in 1787 to take a lighthouse, the first built by the Commissioners of Northern Lighthouses. The original lighthouse is no longer used and though still functioning is now a lighthouse museum.

I visited the lighthouse museum several years ago, and either then or shortly thereafter I bought a model of the lighthouse. The photograph shows the model set against a fairly nice sky.

Weather today has also been fairly good as there has been no rain and clear sky.
