Can't see the shadow of the wood

...for the shadows of the trees.
Not much work done this week. But lots of meetings. Lots.

The Vets' football club is looking shaky. It looked like we wouldn't get enough players for Sunday's game and the organiser was talking about folding. But we've now got 12 players lined up so we soldier on a little longer.

The gym where we play our Thursday lunchtime 5 a side game is closed this week so I played in an outdoor evening 7 a side game instead. It was a good game. Wonder whether playing both would be too much for my old body? It's tempting though.

Has to take M to the station every morning this week. I miss having a cup of tea in bed!

Looking forward to the weekend and a week off at Christmas. The Xmas shopping is arriving by post every day...
