Snow At Amber Nook

It being Saturday meant we were out cleaning the holiday lodge this morning. This has been the busiest in our 11 years, with only a few part weeks vacant from May to New Year.

While we were there it started to snow. I would love this season to get a bright day with shining crisp snow for a photograph. I've planted conifers so I'm part way towards the alpine look.

On the way home traffic ground to a halt on the A66 dual carriageway, the snow was quite thick, but wet and slushy. Cars were skidding as they tried to restart on the slight hill.
