Geese on the Lake

Today I was up nice and earlier after an enjoyable Christmas party. I ran soon errands in the morning including finding the Christmas turkey. In the afternoon I got a chance to walk down to the lake and liked this pair of geese swimming on the water , I had gotten a few shots of a hawk and some nice ones of a bue jay but this liked it for being a bit different. Another interesting this about the late fall it has been very mild so far  only the cloud cover keep it from getting warmer today. look here for a reminder to what it was like last year at this time Dec 11, 2014
