Coffee and Cigarettes

Once upon a time a cup of coffee and a cigarette were almost inextricably linked,  certainly in all those black and white French and Italian films where they were made to seem terribly cool.  Now smokers like this young couple are obliged to go outside to indulge in their nicotine habit.  

Which leads to the rather strange site in December of the pair of them wrapped up warmly, sitting outside the coffee shop on the pavement (sidewalk for my American friends) playing backgammon whilst drinking coffee and smoking.
