Christmas...

Backblip

Through the eyes of a child it truly magical.

Izzy popped in with a Christmas card and a tree decoration, both of which she'd made herself.  On the little Christmas decoration she's written, "made with love by Izzy."  She is such a sweetie.   I took her to the Christmas tree so she could choose a branch to hang it on and couldn't resist taking a quick shot of her as she looked at all the decs.  (Colour version in extras.)

It was hard to get her to stay still as she was busy telling me all about her school party and who was wearing what and who won pass the parcel and who misbehaved and how the identical twins swapped party hats and got everyone confused.   I could have listened to her stories all night.

Meanwhile Alan got ready to go to the Panto (Beauty and the Beast) in Perth.  He was supposed to go with Gill and Jo but Gill's not well so David stepped in.  Alan was not happy!  He cheered up when David told him he'd just drop him and Jo off and go back for them at the end!  Not cool being out with your dad.  Much better being seen with an attractive blonde!

When Alan and Jo went into the concert hall, they discovered the tickets were for Tuesday night, not Thursday!!!  (Gill booked them, David put the note in the diary.  I take no responsibility for the error!  :-))  Thankfully a wheelchair space and accompanying seat were available.

The Panto was good but very loud apparently and by the middle of the second half, Alan had had enough so him and Jo went out and joined the late night shoppers in Perth and had a look at the Christmas lights.   He arrived home hyper!

I shall be back with today's (18th) blip shortly.  I've not picked the camera up all day so will have to go hunt down a blip!
