Mono-Monday: "Celebration"

So here we are at Mono-Monday 100 - a cause for celebration in itself, and doubly so coming just before Christmas.

This shot sums up part of our traditional family celebrations. We always like to go to a local wood to get our Christmas tree, and for many years running there was a stall there selling lathe-cut wooden "trees" to decorate. Our lads always wanted one each, and then they'd come home and decorate them with paint, glitter, etc. The stall is no longer there, but we now have a large stock of decorated trees which come out every year as part of our Christmas celebration (I've only shown some of them here). You'll see that I've included 3 trees "dressed" as the 3 wise men.

(The owl and the reindeer insisted on photobombing the blip...!)

It seems a shame that you can't see the colours so I've uploaded a colour version as an "extra".

Thanks so much to Skeena for hosting Mono-Monday, and a very Merry Christmas to everyone.
