On the Cobb

We woke up to a lovely morning and after leisurely breakfasts we went into Lyme Regis. We had a cup of coffee in 'The French Lieutenant's Bistro' which is next door to the museum where John Fowles, the author, was curator. We walked along the esplanade where there was lots of activity and then on to the Cobb. As we got further along there were a few high waves crashing over the raised wall to our right but not enough to give us too much of a soaking.

We headed back and had fish and chips and a pint of local ale in a comfortable little restaurant near the front.

There are a few more here.
