Dam Number 4 on the Potomac

I have had a lovely Christmas eve dinner and a little wine…..so please bear with me.

Earlier today we drove  up the Potomac River to mile 81 so that my husband could run another segment of the C&O canal.  His goal is to run the entire length (184 miles) and he only has about 67 more to go.  The weather was very warm, over 70 degrees and the water was quite cold so the river was shrouded in mist.  The skies remained very turbulent and ominous throughout the day.

This is Dam 4 on the Potomac River, somewhere between Williamsport, Maryland and Shepherdstown, West Virginia.  It was a pretty drab looking image, so I have taken a lot of liberty with it…as you do.

I really enjoyed reviewing all the Tiny Tuesday images this week. It was very difficult to decide who should get hearts and as always there are never enough to give out.   These are my favorites:

Hearts went to:
DollyKGray's butterfly
DonnaWanna's Gum Nuts
Aliscotia's Moss and Drops
Miffy's Shell
Hanulli's Gerbera

Also deserving of recognition are:

Delena Jane's Snowflake  (check out the extra's too)
Rainie's Flowers
Trisharooni's Shrimp
Kimb's Christmas ball with feathers
BrianH's Pomegranates
Freyjad's Screws

Thanks to everyone for participating.  I will be hosting again next week.  The tags are:  TinyTuesday, TinyTuesday31 and TT31.

Wishing all of you a very happy holiday.
