The Left Over Feast

What do you do with all those Christmas day left overs? You bring some to the Breakeys and share a feast of each other's left overs. Delicious, varied, social, relaxed, and minimal work for 6 tired families.

It started way back, even before kids, when we met up with a group of fellow dog walkers for our regular 5 pm dog run in the park. What are you having for dinner, this Boxing Day, was the conversation. Each family would groan and say left over turkey/ham/salmon. I turned to the group and said ... " Grab that plate of left overs and lets mix it up a bit. Come to our house in 30 mins!" That gave us 30 mins to frantically tidy and then kick back with friends on a hot summer Boxing Day evening with a delicious feast that no one had stressed over.
