Nearest and dearest

It was quite a journey through torrential rain to reach my parents' house in rural Northumberland today. At one point it looked like we might have to turn back due to flooding on the A68. This would have caused all sorts of problems because we were also running low on fuel.

Happily we made it and had a fun time catching up with my nearest and dearest after our time further south with Mr hazelh's family. Here are pictured those with whom I share genes: my nephew and niece P and A, my sisters J and S, and my parents.

Exercise today: none.
