Stamens......

....of a Asiatic Lilium.

The colour of the stamens are bright orange while the petals are close to being cerise and the flower has no speckles. Must say I'm just a tiny bit disappointed as its completely different to the picture, it was supposed to be pale pink with lots of speckles. Oh well, you win some and lose some, at least its different to my other lilies.

Warm thanks to everyone who has stopped by recently, your words have been a delight to read. I'm like a tortoise, slowly catching up with some back blips - it's going to be a long process, blips have been taken so blips are going up regardless how long it takes me.

We still have family here so more time is being spent with them rather than commenting for now.
