Pink Car

BB was up sharp this morning, breakfasted, dressed and ready before we knew it.  How many minutes is it till the party he asked.  Three hours and thirty minutes, I replied.  Ten minutes later, how many minutes is it till the party?  It was looking like it would be a long morning, so we all went out for a walk around town – just to kill a few minutes you understand.

At last it was time to drop him at his friend E’s house.  It was E’s 9th birthday today and he was taking a few friends to see the new Star Wars movie, then back to his house for food and cake.  To say that BB was excited would be an understatement.

Once he was safely deposited, TT and I went out for a very nice lunch in East Linton, then walked along the river to Hailes Castle and back along the road.  The riverside walk was not nearly as muddy as we thought it might be, but it was clear that we wouldn’t have been able to walk there a few days ago.

It was nice to have some time together, though I could have done with BB with us to slow the pace of walking down.  TT forgets that his legs are twice as long as mine.

We spotted this pink car on our walk.  Ours isn't quite in this state, but the insurance company have not phoned back.
