Swan Lake

After a bit of deliberating, today we decided to have a drive out to the rather windy and blustery Whisby nature reserve. A few other hardy souls were walking dogs and kids around so we weren't the only crazy ones! 

Taking photos was a bit of a challenge due to the windy conditions, and other than a few water birds there wasn't a lot out in the open to photograph. But the bracing walk was good for blowing off a few of the Chrimbo Limbo week cobwebs!

By the time we got to the bird feeder area my camera battery had died unfortunately as there were lots of pretty garden type birds around the feeders. 

After we'd finished walking round Whisby we went off for lunch in Morrison's cafe then to buy a new cabinet for the back room from British Heart Foundation's new stuff range. This means all the clutter from the two tatty old cabinets that are going to make way for the new one needs sorting and clearing out. But that can be a job for another day!
