New book of walks

I had a gift of a new book of walks in the Chilterns for Christmas so despite the awful wet weather we ventured out to do one of them.  The walk is very local to us and starts in Wendover, but as always with these books it takes you on new paths.  It was a nice walk but will be even better on a fine day! 

The walk starts on the Wendover Arm of the GUC where we saw a family of Swans, a Heron and Little Egret (too far away to get a good picture) and lots of Mallards.

I popped into High Wycombe later in the afternoon, it was very quiet, got a couple of book bargains and some food essentials.  We then watched the Die Hard Movie we had recorded........what a load of pap!  I sort of watched it along with reading my new books!
