Norwegian Fuzz.

Had a nice long lie today and woke up to rain; luckily it stopped in time for M and I to have a cup of coffee outside on the terrace before breakfast. After we'd eaten, we headed out to Dirdal with A and L for a bit of fishing; we were out of luck for fisk, but luckily Byrkjedalstunet was close by for coffee and pancakes.

Afterwards, we took a drive to Gloppedalsura, a deep valley filled with huge boulders - most collected at the lowest point but many perched precariously along the sides of the valley, looking as though a strong gust of wind might send them tumbling down into the road. The boys were keen to fish again, so we stopped at a freshwater lake and I took some photos (including this wee moth - more fuzz larger) while M caught what was possibly the smallest brown trout on record!

When we got back to Ålgård we picked up some shopping and A made us a lovely peppercorn sauce to have with steaks for tea. Before bed, we walked down to the lake at the base of the hill in A's town and had a very cold, brief swim before relaxing in front of the TV. A late night with many a brandy for the boys... A couple of sore heads scheduled for tomorrow!
