Anyone For A Paddle?

We had to wait until after lunch for the rain to clear today - but we made it out for our walk!

This sort of view was fairly typical - wet muddy lanes and  misty grey horizons.

We avoided the worst of the mud by sticking to these lanes - the footpaths across the fields are ankle deep in mud so we avoided these. I don't think my boots have dried out properly for over a week. Probably need to re-proof them soon!

I have added another shot in extras - just one example of a field that has turned into a lake. This one is just grass but a lot of the crops are underwater too.
