Pictorial blethers

After the storm

On a day of thunder and sudden downpours, this lovely sky above the island of Cumbrae in the Firth of Clyde caught my attention, chiefly for the varied colours of the cumulus and the strange bar-like effects across them. The shore just visible in the bottom LH corner is the Toward shore, along which the road runs. There were oyster-catchers on the pebble beach, and you can just make out a diver of some kind on the water.
