Trees in winter

Very busy day so little time for a blip, but warming up Mini to dry her out after a couple of days standing in torrential rain unused I spent some time contemplating the magnificent trees around us. In some ways they are more interesting, more magnificent, without their summer clothes.
In better weather we have picnics and barbecues under the one showing off his/her colourful, exquisitely patterned, trunk.
