Sticks and stones

Went for a walk around to look for blips ... I know, I have blipped this tree before, but it's my "one tree" ... remember that project?

Sone good news and some bad news today. Good news: one of my Premium Bonds came up! ::cheers:: Bad news: it was only 25 quid ::boo:: Still, it's another small contribution to Blipfoto's future.

Further good news: grace pushed the total to the magic £100,000 mark! I know some people have hit technical glitches with pledging: if that's you, don't give up -- email info@blipfuture.com and they will help you out.

We had a nice evening out planned today: the new film with Fabrice Luchini, L'Hermine, followed by dinner at the Tira-tap. Luchini is one of our favourite actors -- you can always expect theatrical fireworks from him -- but the film -- a courtroom "drama" with Luchini as the judge -- was so disappointing. After an hour we were terminally bored, so we left (with increasing age, I am increasingly intolerant of boring books and films). And then it turned out that Maria was on holiday, so no Tira-tap either. Instead we went to the pizzeria in Fabrezan, as always bustling and friendly, so the evening wasn't entirely wasted.
