Le Madison

It's never gone out of fashion here. It is irredeemably naff, but it is the dance to do on campsites and at fêtes de village in the summer, and has been for at least 20 years. It's been repurposed here for les voeux du maire; this group specifically requested it and danced very enthusiastically. Once they got started there was no stopping them, and the evening rolled on with paso dobles and lots of other traditional dances played by the inexhaustible local musician on his synthesiser.
