Bonsai

This is my only bonsai. They are a lot of effort so I only have one....but I do mind quite a few others. This is a ginkgo and it is about 8 years old. I may have repotted it once, it needs some attention. Despite the books saying they need deep fertile soil ( which it doesn't get here) this has survived and has enormous leaves. The common name is maidenhair tree and is the sole surviver of an ancient genus.
