A Day Worth Recording

By Cheeseminer

Drumbling

A day of three halves.  Garden hacking in the morning to clear the vegetation from around a garden wall that's held together with gravity and optimism; to allow the bricklayer access next week.

Then went shopping - mistake that, as Waitrose's carpark was full -  so the Coop and charity shops in Barnards Green got our business.

Ended the day at the Quaker meeting's annual social evening with a shared meal and entertainments.  E provided a veggie lasagne, I dusted off the Bodhran again and A read some of her poetry.
