The return of Sabrina

A very dark, wet and miserable day again.

I walked through Cae Glas Park in Oswestry this morning and passed this statue of Sabrina. She obviously thought that we needed some extra water as she poured more from her water container.

In July I blipped her base here after thieves removed her with a chainsaw before abandoning her on the pavement after neighbours heard the goings on. They were under the misapprehension that she was made from lead rather than base metal of no value.

After three months under repair she was returned to her usual spot - next to the public conveniences (keeping to the water theme). Everyone was glad to see her return.
