More than peanuts

These are a set of gilded Chinese lucky peanuts from Singapore with some real nuts for size next to them for Tiny Tuesday (with thanks to our host Nickimags888) and for luck for the BlipFuture talks.

Within Chinese customs and traditions peanuts (花生; huāshēng)  stand for birth/offspring because the second syllable sheng sounds like 'giving birth', but it also stands for health, long life, birth of prosperity, continuous growth, multiplication in wealth and good fortune and stability. More than enough to hope it's lucky for the BlipFuture talks this week too :-)

Thank you very much for your comments and stars for yesterday's fancy Indian dress :-)
