Maritime Museum

There was quite a bit of snow around today, as shown in the extra picture, so we decided to head in to the city. As the Art Gallery is closed there is a distinct lack of places to visit. We chose the Maritime Museum as a place to pass an hour or so.

The Museum complex incorporates a converted church. The photograph is taken on the top floor of the Museum, close to what would have been the roof of the church, and is now the 5th floor of the museum.

A leisurely return to base in the afternoon, a visit to the Hotel bar and then to the Italian restaurant, still at the hotel.
