Blackbird

I went round to Gunknowe Loch on my way back to work this afternoon. There were the usual swans, ducks, coots, and gulls, etc but the bird that caught my eye was this cheeky wee blackbird. He must live on the crumbs that are dropped by people on the path when they are throwing bread at the swans.

It seems that Scottish Borders Council have looked into their wee chrystal ball this afternoon as they have cancelled all the school runs in the morning, this was before a snowflake had even fallen. Looks like it will be a day at home for me, unless something else crops up and I get a phone call.
