Life through the lens...

By ValC

June in January

Although we had a cold night, which meant the bird's water was frozen this morning, the rest of our garden was frost free.

I wondered what to Blip for Flower Friday, and then noticed that high up above the fence, these two pink roses were still in flower. ( just)
It was late afternoon, and so the sun had already started to dip down.
The title is a song Bing Crosby first sang in 1934. A bit before my time!

Just about to light the fire, as I think we are going to have a cold night!
Winter is here at last!

On the way to the supermarket,I did see some daffodils flowering on the Chain Bar roundabout, but didn't have my camera.
Never seen them so early before.
