Countess of Evesham

This is the Countess of Evesham just passing the Royal Shakespeare Theatre on her return trip back along the River Avon, to the canal basin where she moors up.
Several times a week she takes diners down the Avon to the village of Luddington, then turns and comes back again - it takes about three hours in total. I've never eaten Sunday lunch on here, but we have been for evening dinner when a group of us booked the entire boat (it takes about 44 people) which was good fun. It is more atmospheric in the evening too, as the cruiser lights up the river banks, which is quite nice.
We had a smidgeon of snow this morning, but it was soon gone. When we talked to our family on Skype, our elder grandson was quite disappointed that it had already melted as he has never seen snow and would have like us to show it to him. He wanted to know if the snow hurts if it lands on you when it's snowing. We said it was just like shaking out a pillow full of feathers, and all the feathers fluttering down. I do hope he doesn't take to attacking his pillow now, and shaking the contents out, to see what snow feels like.
