MonoMonday: Traditional

I wandered around the docks today at lunch hour in the light drizzle, in an effort to get a suitable image for this week's MonoMonday Challenge.  In the event, this is Dennis Platen's traditional rigging workshop in the Underfall Boatyard at Bristol's Floating Harbour. These guys specialise in wire and rope work, an important responsibility for those that end up trusting their lives to it!

Its not my most artistic of shots, but I'm a bit pressed for time today.

In the extra, (in colour) I have included a shot of Bristol's Grain Barge, a floating pub.  It is currently in dry dock having work undertaken to it (as you can see from the showers of sparks to the bottom right of the keel).  The parked transit vans to the left of the image give  you an idea of the scale of the thing.

Oh, yes, and great news about blipfuture!
