The Raisins At The End Of The Hot Dog

I love expressions in other languages and today's title comes from Iceland where you would say "Það er rúsínan í pylsuendanum" (the raisin at the end of the hot dog*) when you've unexpectedly discovered something really good.

You can thank the woman on the left of this Blip for that linguistic ornament.

These two have been our visitors from Oz for the past couple of days and it has been a real joy to spend some time with them. 

They're travelling around Europe for the next couple of months - München, Berlin, Wien, Prag, Budapest among many other cities.  If you have any suggestions about what they should try to see, please leave your ideas in the comments - I'm sure they'll try to get round to all of them.

And to give you an idea of nice they were,  Moot came and spent time in the same room as them.  Moot knows Good People.

And because I know they'll have a look at this, I'll wish them eine gute Fahrt (because that never stops being funny).

*I'm at a loss to explain quite why a raisin at the end of your hot dog is considered such a good thing, but from now on may all your hot dogs have raisins at the end of them.
